4 stars for the beautiful level design be warned if you aren't a veteran this level will eat you alive I'm not so after I saw the room full of archviles I was like fuck this and put god mode on. If you are a veteran you may or may not have troubles.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed this map. The game play goes against everything that is logical, but somehow, it all works. Contrary to what the previous reviewer said, I felt the Spider Mastermind trap was clever. There are a few badly designed hallways(and lighting could have been better), but some of the fresh ideas make up for this. If you are looking for something new, definitely try this one. Otherwise, look elsewhere if you want the usual "good map" formula.

Has a bit chaotic look-and-feel, but also some interesting technical constructions. Fights are basically ok, but IMO the scene with the spiderdemon does not work too well. Overall 3.5/5, so worth a play. BTW needs some textures alignment work.

The archvile guard posts are cool. I really like the sloping architecture. It's a slow map, but its reward are bigger w/ pitched teleported waves of monsters. There's some pitching around to do, but nevertheless, it's close by somewhere. Last fight is w/ the spiders + mastermind, fairly easy. ~+5/+5 slugs for time paced, but tuff action.

cool map. try to get ssg quickly. the library ladders have zero tag, so every sector with zero tag lowers when you press them.

Aesthetics are wonderful, gameplay was atrocious. the switch hunt here is tiring and dull. only play this to gaze at the architecture. If you do not care for how a map looks, avoid this like the plague. 1/5.

      A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

      Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
