Well, this mapset was enjoyable for me. I know, everyone has different tastes, but this one has nice vanilla tricks and main gameplay made think about some routes to not get killed instantly. In other words, I say it was challenging experience. In texture and detailing case, it could be better, but I won't complain for that.

Small fun maps. Scrappy, Linear. Not the best architecture but the focus is on gameplay. Read the above reviews.

Blocky, gimmicky, boring detail, poor gameplay, final level is a very difficult monster invasion in a tiny room while the bossbrain gets slowly crushed.

a lot of cheap tricks but cool gameplay. Map03 was weird.

Played @ UV. From map02 the monotonous textures started to get boring. Way too rectangular. Map03: simple architecture, numerous fantasy-less monster popups. I stopped playing map04 when at 4:28 the first monster had to appear. Overall: poor architecture, hopeless gameplay. One (1!) armor bonus is not worth a secret. 1/5 for playability, 2/5 for the efford. BTW 4/5? Sorry, there are thousands of pwads arguably way better than this one - and still not 4/5.

Quite cool, but I believe I cannot finish for some reason. ~3/5 for the coolness

map04 was boring and map03 was a major difficulty spike.

Was cool playing through this. Architecture was usually pretty blocky, but it fit the computer innards motif, and the maps were fun to navigate. The computer virus story was a nice touch, and the ending text-scrawl gave me a chuckle.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
