About This File

One map for limit-removing ports that uses resources from Eternal Doom by TeamTNT extensively. Pretty much inspired by Eternal's works, but isn't really meant to resemble his style in any way rather than giving some small occasional hints on his trademark gameplay moves, so this inspiration is mostly ideological rather than factual. Meant to be challenging, but not insanely so.

Its a feast for slaughter map lovers which i am not...But seriously, apart plain and unimaginative progression this map focused the repetitive gameplay i.e circle strafing/camping and a cybe or spider infighting other monsters(rev mostly)..these are in general problems for a slaughter map imo.. nice looks though

Screw you and your map. If it's a mindless slaughter wankfest with zero imagination or creative gameplay to interest the user, LABEL IT AS SUCH. Utter, utter garbage. And laggy as hell to boot.

Enough with the negativity here. It's a solid map. Looking great and challenging gameplay. What more could you ask?

Great use of Raven textures (via TNT's return resource pack). Challenging but not impossibly so, and fun enough to be worth retrying when you inevitably die over and over again.

Really loved the majestic atmosphere and large scale architecture of this map, it gives justice to the Raven textures it uses and the gameplay will hit the spot if you're a fan of killing hordes of demons.

Excellent example proving that use of TNT resources not automatically creates a good level. Basically map layout consists of interconnected large mostly rectangular areas. Nice decoration using the resources bring a very good ambiance. But then the simply ridiculously uninspired monster popups @ UV turns it into a completely unplayable slaughtermap. 4 for the efford - 2 for the gameplay = 2/5, and I'm going back playing ED3.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
