Doom + Monkey Island + Outlaws. And, believe it or not- it's actually even more awesome than it sounds! 10.000/5

This is brilliant, simply brilliant. Every aspect is perfect, the enemies, the humor, the sounds, the level design with its surprises and varied encounters. Above all, this release is simply so much fun to play. Truly a legendary release.

Someone should show this TC to Tim Schafer, that would surely win Arch a job in Double Fine. In any case this is so good it deserves to be famous even outside Doom community.

Ever wondered what Monkey Island FPS made by Outlaws team would look like? Well, now we have a pretty good idea. This is 100% must-play for any fan of Doom and Lucasarts i.e. any 90s gamer in need of some good nostalgia surge.

So, looks like it's over now. The best modern TC is considered complete by its author whose level of dedication is really amazing. Great stuff, and also one of the very few humorous mapsets that don't make me sick, but instead provide very consistent, enjoyable and unique experience. Bravo.

Started playing through this and I am 3 levels in and must admit this is fantastic stuff. Very atmospheric to say the least. Excellent gameplay, superb visuals esp in Gzdoom. 2 years of hard work and it shows. That town level in MAP02 simply blew me away. I had a quick look at the other maps and cannot fault them, esp the circus and the underground cave map with lava and those texas town levels at twilight. Amazing stuff!

A decent tribute map with a good pace and combat constant.  But it started to feel pretty samey after a while, with neverending crates and mostly flat lighting throughout.  And I would appreciate bigger weapons if it's going to be Mancubus -> Mancubus -> Mancubus -> Archvile the entire time.  It takes way too long to kill them with a shotgun and it isn't challenging enough to justify that.  That one crusher spot was also complete bullshit; there's a small pit with corpses to warn you of it, but if you look down from the ledge above to see it, the ceiling will instantly trap you and drain all your health.

A very cool E2M2 remake, recognizable in its tribute and yet adding so much more to the original map. It is quite sprawling, and finding your way can be tricky at times, but it's never needlessly confusing. The fights are fun but not very hard, apart from the occasional troublesome cyberdemon.

An engaging map.  Thoughtful traps reminiscent of Death Destiny left me with a sense of impending doom.  I knew I was going to die and die a lot but every fight left me with a sense of reward.  Give this a chance if you're not a fan of hard or challenge styled gameplay.    On UV, a blind playthrough shouldn't take more than an hour.  If you're unfamiliar with Paul977's maps I'd say start with this one then follow with Black Room.

well what can i say i played this in 3 ways (all on ultra violence)   1 in GZDOOM With Mouse Look crouch/jump disabled  and had a decent time the textures not Lined is pretty neat (except the hell textures) but it felt like a classic Map that might fit in DOOM 2    2 The 2nd way i played this was with Chocolate Doom with the keyboard controls and My Myyyy i had fun decent challenge!   3 the 3rd and final way was With Brutal DOOM V21 and this was probably the most fun i had on this level it was 10 mins of fun mowing down all the Demons   the only complaint i really have is the textures and for a 1994 WAD Its decent    and thats the thing this was made in 1994 when everyone was making WADS for the first time!    and from the Read Me claiming anyone can Use this WAD for additional levels   may even Remaster this WAD :D     3.5 Stars in my book!
