About This File

What do you expect from this map? It's typical plutonia map with crude name, mixed layout, chaingunner/revenant spam, walls in thickets, instant traps, e.t.c ...

by the same guy who made Urania, this is a Plutonia-made map with overall intense difficulty. there's a ton of nasty ambushes especially by ninjagunners. like his other stuff I played before, riderr3 has an interesting, but very obtuse sense of progression. I'm not really a fan of it, but I thought this sole map was good enough.

Stuck somewhere between the original Plutonia and its malevolent descendant Skepland, this map is both intelligent and sardonic in its approach to difficulty. Twisted and convoluted, it will ambush you every step of your way and make your life miserable should you choose the "wrong" direction without the proper equipment or just stop being careful and attentive. Wanna cry mama in a non-slaughtermap, but don't feel like battling skepticist's behemoth just yet? Then this map is worth a look for sure.

I really enjoyed this map, the difficulty was spot on, not too hard, not too easy for slaughters. The only thing that irritated me a bit was the fact that the map did not recognize the wall of screaming faces as a portal so that made me waste 15 minutes trying to get to the switch by the cybie. Other than that, it was great. 4.5/5

Hard as hell on UV, feeling very Plutonia-like. But riderr3, you've improved your design skill considerably, compared to your earlier efforts. Thumbs up. 4/5

Typical ADHD level. Not too difficult @ UV, just stop thinking and bang your ass off to the exit ;-). Map layout is a bit cramped but not too bad, texture use ok. Since ADHD is not my piece of cake, I won't rate the gameplay. Overall: solid but no original ideas making it pretty darn good, so 3/5.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
