About This File

While on your daily stroll around of the disgusting brown hillside, you hear a scream. Eager to loot the corpse of whoever probably just died, you grab you pistol and head in the direction of the scream. What you find instead will make you question everything you've ever known...

Really, It's just a map I made so I looked as if I was doing something productive. Enjoy!

I agree with the two above reviews. Lack's consistency and encounter design (especially the 3 cyber) were quite weak. 2,5/5 stars.

I had to idmus18 immediately: loud and aggressive Nintendo-like track when the player is facing a door = laughable. The map uses some high micro detail that feels out of place in an otherwise oldschool looking level and it lacks a certain sense of direction. Still, it's a somewhat fun easy 10 minute adventure and I have to give bonus points for the clever way of showing the insides of a crate. And yeah, the 3 cybers sucked.

Amateurish map without a theme, looks like just a bunch of scenes. Map layout is simple, ambiance is uninspired. Lots of texture misalignments, two HOMs. Gameplay is disappointingly; 3-cybies fight is yawning, as is the end fight. Overall, despite the effort: meh, so 2*.

A solid oldschool (as in Memento Mori or Requiem, not as in 1994 WAD) level, with fairly easy secrets. I was unable to open the door after the marble hallway and three enemies with huge guts, but this is not counted in my score.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
