About This File

It's my second map for Doom and therefore it's so big))) There is some kind of story also. Just several short messages here and there. And you can choose what man you are: a cool man or a wise one.

Way, way too ambitious. Author shows a lot of technical skills, but 512 bytes is not enough for even briefly summarising what's wrong with this map. In an early stadium, author should have started a forum thread asking for opinions and advices. Hopefully he will do, because he shows talent. Overall as-is: completely unplayable, but 2* as strong encouragement. BTW1 Zdoom lags, gzdoom not at all (2560x1440 @ HD6950). BTW2 Quote: '1. Learn english'? That is very lame...

A good concept but a completely unplayable mess in practice. Confusing, broken, and totally unbalanced.

This is an unorthodox WAD with an interesting idea, but completely wrong execution. Ignoring technical errors such as misplaced textures, the gameplay doesn't flow very well. The labirynth is simply excruciating. The map ends on a weird note suggesting you should give your leg to the cyberdemon so it can eat it. Also, abuse of 3D floors causes FPS drops in certain areas. Author shows some good skills, but the general idea in this WAD just doesn't stick together.

This one is weird. I have to say that the story is really weird. There's no combat emphasis, and the lag factor is very high for some reason. I don't think that this is playable, but I think this is a puzzle theme. Sorry about the low score, but it's like eternity or something like that. Didn't get too far here. *shrugs* ~0/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
