this is another relatively nice set, many levels got that traditional Doom feel while also feeling quite fresh at the same time. there's nothing really bad about this set, even if the last map is a traditional boss map featuring a spider then a cyber, it still works out. lots of secrets, but nothing is really hard to find. recommended.

A quite simple wad, but very well made and polished that gives a good quality load to enjoy, recommending for all those who look for something simple and easy but entertaining and great, the maps I love, they show a very good quality and the creator He seems to have achieved his idea completely, quite entertaining and simple, if I can describe it with something, it would be ... a hamburger, great, quick, and delicious to try.

This is a set of nine solid maps. The themes are varied, mostly a mixture of KDitD techbase and hell. The maps are generally along the easy side (very Doom2-ish), but there are still some surprises to be found. The decorations in the maps are also very Doom2-ish in that they're simple but they're both functional and look good. Map layouts and progression are for the most part good, but there a few spots where progression is a bit obscure. The difficulty progression was also good, except TAB08 was disappointingly easy.

One random thing I liked was the continuity. If you end a level in a red brick area, you are going to start the next level in a red brick area. One random thing I disliked was that no door had its tracks unpegged. I know it can be a stylistic choice but it bothered me. Also, Gzdoom features are used to create a new selectable episode. Unfortunately, this means it won't run in most ports, which sucks because the maps don't seem to use any other Gzdoom features.

Overall, I'd probably recommend this to anyone looking for something easy and simple to play for an hour or so.

Beaten this in a 2-player survival game with double ammo. Took us just about 1 hour. It's a very good map set, through and through. Tad too easy - we didn't die once. But still, everything here is superb. Good job.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
