Extra Info : For 20 years I hadn't even thought of making
another new G1 DOOM level, until suddenly I
did and by jove, it's way more fun on a
modern system with WYSIWIG.
I warmed up to Doom Builder by modifying
MAP01 and then moved on to this completely
Even though it's in the MAP02 slot it's more
of an EndGame level due to it's size & complexity.
I definitely took advantage of being able
to make a bigger, modern level with lot's
of detail, but I think it has an Shores of Hell
Tom Hall / Romero vibe.
The level has some options & branching paths
for the player as well as criss crossing
paths that "open up" while playing through,
so one of the things I tried to do was give a
little hint or subtle indication where there's
something of interest.
The level is pretty close to being complete,
but I consider it BETA because I want to spend
some more time balancing out the ammo & monster
flow as well as polishing smaller things and
apply player feedback.
