      Server Downtime   01/17/18

Our server host (Linode) is going to be applying patches to address the Meltdown vulnerability over the next day or two. Because this involves patching the hypervisor that the Doomworld virtual private server runs under, this will require some degree of downtime. Some of our servers are due to have this maintenance around midnight-ish tonight, America time, and the other server is due to have this maintenance tomorrow around midnight-ish, America time. So if you try and come to Doomworld and stuff appears to be broken, don't freak out!

Mild action with mild difficulty but with lots of visual clutter that builds a detailed tech-base map. Very convex layout. Good in overall.

A nice small map that stands on its own. Great detailing, especially since it doesn't use slopes, 3D floors, or custom textures. The level progression is quite interesting - the way you used lowering floors to reveal new areas and create shortcuts was by far my favorite part of the map. My only qualms are that some buttons alter things on the other side of the map that were not immediately obvious, and a specific teleporter traps enemies from a nearby monster closet.

Casual, straight foward map with interesting level design, smart secrets and good progression, replayed it a couple of times and looked for secrets, they are pretty rewarding... if you're looking  for a simple, single map to play - this is it, no need to look at the map and scratch your head, wondering where's the fricking door; everything's obvious, the gameplay is smooth

Expansive cave area with some lava and chasms. You run through arenas much like those "classic" shooters like nu-Shadow Warior, Painkiller or Hard Reset. Ugly room design with next to no lighting variation. Monsters spawn in hordes by scripts but the fights are usually very easy due to circle-strafing. Poor level.

The map is a pleasant, detailed and HUGE structure.  On the other hand it is too labyrinthine and the fight are not engaging. Things I hated: two little buttons (too difficult to find) and the mice (they don't blend well in the futuristic/nightmarish setting of Doom). Things I loved: vehicles/aircraft and the wide variety of textures.   P.S. For a first map this is absolutely stunning. My compliments...

Pretty solid ZDoom megawad.  Very few maps that I found poor in quality.  Challenge level is acceptable, secret levels are pretty fun.  Wished more ZDoom wads were like this.   I would have rated this five stars, but failing to credit me for the boss music in E1M9 merits four stars.

Played on UV.   The Good If you need more of a classic Dos DooM from 93, then look no further. This was done brilliantly, especially the Cyberdemon & Spider Mastermind battles.   The Bad Nothing.   In summation Don't miss on this one. Three episodes of goodness!
