WADs like this one are symbolic to the longetivity of this modding scene. No matter what, no matter how long, we'll still be getting those. It's a charming piece, playable but with some odd bumps that stand out. There's one imp stuck on the ledge and one health bottle stuck in a too narrow hole so you can't pick it up. The geometry, at least in maps 01-03, is fully linear and produces only gameplay area without any visual clutter. MAP04 stands in complete contrast to the others and you will see it immediately as you spawn. There's abundance of SSG ammo, armor and to some extent also health, but there's severe lacking of rockets - a common thing among many WADs, probably because rocket boxes give you a small amount of them in comparison to the other ammo boxes. Any player will probably blaze through this map set with no difficulty.

First map was too easy and short, second and third were ok, but easy anyway, and after picking up a ssg third map becomes a cakewalk. Not a lot of monsters variety, if its not a chaingunner waiting in the next room, it will always be an agitating skeleton, also too much armor.  i saw you were trying to create a vanilla feel to the maps with the first three maps, but then you said "Screw this" and made "Tyrant", nice map, but doesn't really belong to this wad, and you clearly put more effort into Tyrant than the rest of the wad. Overall, 4.

Dario Casali siege-carnage adventure. There's maybe a thousand monsters in here, so better find those weapons and start to think how to digest it all. Watch out for those nazi ghost. Built time about two. Funny.

The level design is absolutely great! i love how it makes you genuinely feel like you are in a building the whole time..   For some reason this wad gives me a Die Hard vibe [probably the whole "Go down a building" Motif... now all we need is a demonic Hans and we are all set]   but yeah.. great wad overall...

Amazing episode, some custom decorations and good care to lights and shadows. I like how he uses the playing space (wide corridors) and how it affects the combat. Despite her beautiful voice, you gotta kill her. Burning trees.

Nice, tight level design. E1M8 was an amazing puzzle map.
It's surprisingly difficult for a Doom 1 WAD, but for wrong reasons: constant ambushes, monsters teleporting right behind you. Also, there is a serious lack of medikits. Fights with 5 % health and hitscanners all around are common.
      Still, it was quite fun.

Seriously underappreciated WAD. If you've played the Japanese Community Project, Manbou (burabojunior) was the most prolific contributor, and without his nine maps, the JPCP wouldn't have the same reputation for fun and artistic flair. He announced Water Spirit in the text file for JPCP, and released it a year later. These are three somewhat challenging maps with high enemy counts and visuals even more stunning than his JPCP maps. Manbou is probably my favorite visual artist in Doom. My only complaint is that the PWAD as a whole is really short, consisting of only three maps that are about ten minutes of gameplay each. It leaves me wanting a lot more.
