Comparing to others wads from 95, this one is pretty nice detailed. There are some minor texturing issues mostly next to stairs. Overall it's looks nice. But all others parts are screwed up. Map is very cramped. Rooms are small and corridors narrow. Monsters are weak, provides no challange. Gameplay is mostly switch hunt, including unmarked switch on the left on kind of hidden corridor with exit sign. Map is short, if you won't stuck like me you may do it in few minutes. Also I found a bug: damaging floor in secret area which clearly shouldn't hurt.

Overall: Why I'm writing so much about kinda crappy wad from over 23 years?? 2.5/5*

I wouldn't call this shit, but it is a rather cramped and constrictive level with an overabundance of switches. Combat takes place in a series of little rooms, with various switch related mechanics to trap or allow you to progress. It does have several rather nice little details, but like the level as a whole they're small & fiddly. The author seems technically proficient for 94 - had he pursued a more open, free-flowing paradigm he might've made good levels. But this is ok for 94

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
