About This File

This is level 1 of a 4 level episode. It's supposed to take place in a Space Station. I have spent plenty of time aligning and drawing new textures to get some good effects. Hope, you enjoy it ! Unfortunately the previous version SPACE22.WAD tended to lock up with DooM][ V. 1.9 (maybe because it was tested only with the DooM][ V.1.666-german). This should be fixed now. Any comments and suggestions welcome.

For it's time, amazing. Nice looking with custom textures. Theme is consistent. But there are flaws. Difficulty is very easy, no ssg (or I didn't found any). Start in decopressed room is ok, but it kill really fast. Some mandatory secrets. But overall very good.

This is interesting. It's an attempt to set Doom inside a space station, but a lot more effort has gone into it that most contemporary wads. There are air locks, a radiation store, a big weapons crate, and it's elaborate and charming. Unfortunately because this is 1995 it looks gash, but it's worth a few stars for effort.

Would not play with PRBoom, with errors about missing files : FluidR3_GM.sf2 and STARTAN2.  These were not provided in the zip file.

The map author left the words "how not" out of his description, I'll let you figure out where.

More tripe.  Huge badly designed and featureless rooms that give you leg ache just watching going through them. The opposition from monsters is pitiful.

A busted crock of shit. The map is random scribble, it's insane.  Why do they upload this tripe?  The third screenshot above gives an idea what to expect.

Consists of some rooms to be opened in key sequence from a central area. Doors are narrow and each reveals a row of monsters waiting for you, and you don't have enough ammo (I had to cheat). No atmosphere, bright lighting, and mostly Wolfenstein-ish cuboid rooms. Technically OK, with minor texture mis-matches. At least his own summary was modest.   Give it a miss.
