This is a decent level from long ago. The complex nowadays seems undetailed, but it's still impressively large, and would probably have taxed a 386. The gameplay doesn't amount to much more than exploring a lot of similar-looking grey rooms in a giant building, but it's nostalgic and has a stark beauty of its own.

Nice atmosphere for '94 but boring gameplay. The author should've built the rooms first and the outside area second so the level design would've been less cramped and repetitive. Also, 1 required secret. 3.5/5

The "Doom 2" version included has a missing texture.

A decent '94 WAD. The replacement night sky graphic, included as a separate file in the ZIP, is more appropriate than the standard E1 sky, IMO. The weapons placement is odd - there is a plasma rifle, but it is right next to the exit. However, you can use a teleport to circumvent key doors (an oversight on the author's part) and exit early. One of the imps (Thing 172) behind the crate barricade has the Deaf attribute set and is out of sight, so you can never kill it, hence 99% kills only. - N_A

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
