30 Levels of Doom2 Music

About This File

This is 30 levels of fairly interesting music for Doom 2. I downloaded about 100 midi files with cool filenames and chose about 25 to compile into one big Doom2 wad.

I'm planning to make a 30TUNES2 pretty soon. To this end, I have downloaded about 1,000 midi files from ftp.funet.fi. Now, all I have to do is listen to them. :)

I recommend using this wad with a 30-level deathmatch wad (like my own 30wads1.wad).

Almost a megabyte of MIDI shitness. Map01 is an arrangement of "We Three Kings of Orient Are", Map05 is an awful arrangement of "Black Hole Sun", Map15 is the worst version of "Theme from Miami Vice" you will ever hear, Map16 is Enigma's "The Sadeness" etc. I didn't bother to find which one is "Alex F", but it has to be in there somewhere, along with a version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

Simple, clearly a first wad.  All on the flat with big, brightly lit, and architecturally implausible rooms. The first map has two rooms, the second map one, and the third map one plus a kind of exit lobby. You can do one of two things - just run past the monsters and finish (I did it in 35 seconds), or have a bit of fun killing the monsters first. No noticable bugs. I hope the author will go on (or went on) to greater things.

Absolutely ludicrous, Now I need a new keyboard. Technically as bad as a wad can be, surely deliberate. I like to check out low-rated wads, so it's a pity that some clowns gave this  (and other bad ones) 5 stars, because averaged with correct low scores they end up with a middling rating and can be missed.

Would not play with PRBoom, with errors about missing files : FluidR3_GM.sf2 and STARTAN2.  These were not provided in the zip file.
