Control Station KGx/57 for DOOM

Another white & blue base from the author of the awesome Proxyon Military Base. This map is less awesome I think, with a lot of repetition in ideas\/design and bland filler-ish monster placement. It still has a certain atmosphere created by stylish texturing though, and IDMUS27 makes it even better. Prepare to look at the automap a lot if you're gonna play this because there are tons of secret doors.

This reminded me slightly of "Equinox" at first: A silver/grey techbase with large, bare rooms and corridors. It plays nothing at all like "Equinox", though. It's boring (but not ugly) and there's an abundance of completely hidden doors to find. It does get easier to find them once you learn that most of this map is symmetrical. The amount of ammo for such a weak resistance is insulting. Oh, and there are two very bizarre "secrets" (featuring a picture of women in bathing suits). --2/5
