About This File

My first PWAD - A VERY large level for Heretic - I got a little carried away, I guess! I plan on releasing a second level very soon, a bit smaller and better for deathmatch!

This is a level for giants. Everything is huge, in all directions. But the giants aren't home, so it's you with the undead warrior mice. Like in "Jack and the Beanstalk", the theme is clouds or more precisely flying: there are very many wings of wrath, which you'll actually need, because sometimes you may get stuck in some balcony with no way out. Start over if you run out of wings or chaos devices and you're stuck.

For the most part I could not find weapons, so I heroically tysoned my way with the elvenwand, gauntlets and staff (yes, that's useful too even if you have the gauntlets). However, it turned out that a weapon is available near the start.

I couldn't find the exit so I gave up. It turned out it exists, but its access door is activated by a switch kilometers away.

Due to all this, the level is rather boring and annoying to play. It may be a deathmatch level for ants.

Too big, really too big. If the whole map architecture was reduced by an half, it would be ok. However I've been stuck in one place during play, with no chaos device in hand. 2/5. ~Naan

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
