About This File

Close quarter melee with that favorite of weapons, the Shot Gun. Compact, detailed level in the spirit of ID's original first episode. If you're fed up of panoramic blast-o-thon's and "Oh my, there's a Cyberdemon next to the player one start." then this is for you.

The texturing feels a bit random at times and some doors and switches are marked a bit oddly, but it plays fairly well. Good if you like old-school maps, otherwise it might not interest you.

This is an entertaining little level, done in a real old E1 style. It hasn't aged badly, and still looks decent. Some of the textures are wonky, and although there's a box of rockets there's no rocket launcher. Nonetheless it's excellent for 1994, and still playable today.
