About This File

This is a DOOM II pwad. Single or Cooperative. Deathmatch would be impractical

- Single You are an independant truck driver. You are resting in your cab when it is pushed onto it's side. You grab your handgun from the glove box and jump out the windshield. Shotgun welding maniacs and small satanic creatures are all around you.

Luckly, the supplies you were moving were from the United Ammunition Company (UAC). You finish off the creatures outside and prepare to enter the truck stop when it sinks into the ground! A huge gaping hole opens up infront of you. Shotgun ready, you enter the maze of underground caves in search of the foul creature that woke you up.

- Cooperative Same story as single but with more than one person.

Dark mono-textured labyrinth-type level. Exploring is of type 'don't know what to do and where to go', has a lot of pointless corridors, and a zillion of texture misalignments. Low-populated @ UV, but as this is a typical '96 level, you'll encounter a lot of spectres in the dark, and of course mr. Cybie is waiting for you. Overall rated as 1996 map: somewhere between awful and meh, but as author has put effort in some new textures and a sound: 2*.

bland actually. the opening area has a cool effect but then it delves into spelunking into caverns which slow progression and flow. also, climbing back up it's possible to get stuck if you fall on the left side. I like the truck stuff at the beginning though.

Pretty boring and confusing gameplay with stuff opening and closing for no reason. But it has a good storyline aspect with new textures, a cool earthquake effect, sounds that echo inside the cave, etc. It is possible to get stuck on the stairs leading back to start if you fall.

^Good on you Sam! This is a decent map with cute new graphics (truck and hudface, which is pretty rare). The opening gimmick with the sinking truck stop is pretty neat, though the map quickly devolves into navigating a singularly textured cave afterward. It also has an interesting touch: new echoey sounds probably meant to simulate the acoustics of a cave.

to anonymous reviewer who gave it zero stars. Thanks for taking the time to play my level and write an insightful and inspired review. I made this level 18 years ago, and at the time I thought it was pretty cool... but, 17 year olds are kind of dumb.

Puerile. Starts of with a modellers paradise. Goes into an interminable cavern that is about as much fun as a world tour of Jimmy Connelly's arse. What this author thinks is the fun in playing this level I do not know. No puzzles just endless map-making fun. This author lacks insight. As usual, some fool has given it four stars.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
