This is my first review on this website. I know this is a very old WAD for Doom 2, but the fact that someone actually took the time to make a Partial Conversion of Doctor Who for Doom 2 is pretty impressive in my opinion. It also helps that this Doom wad took inspiration from the 4th Doctor Tom Baker who is one of my favorite Doctors (my main favorite being the 9th Christopher Eccleston. I always found it odd that the pistol replacement was the Sonic Screwdriver cause I've never seen it used as a weapon, but more as a tool, but I guess it works for this. I also loved hearing a rendition of the Doctor Who theme in the first level. I wish I knew who's theme it was supposed to be because it sounds really good. The enemy replacements are really creative too. Daleks replacing the Imps was brilliant. The only thing I kinda wished about this was that there were new levels. Again it's not a huge issue considering that probably around the time this came out it would have taken some time for new levels.

I really don't think this wad gets the attention it deserves and is very overlooked. If you are a Doctor Who fan you should check it out. 10/10 from me.

I Would love to know how these graphics were made! but The Macra doesn't really look like the one from the Lost Episode, tough, but very close!

For its age, this is actually pretty damn good. However, this is definitely a project worth revisiting some time in the future.

The graphics are amazingly well done for being 1996 and the sounds are choosen well (no insanly long-running speeches for instance). Allthough some of the characters, like the Macra, are not so good.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
