One of the first wads I played when I got into Doom in the late '90s, and I remember thinking of how awesome some of these levels were. Nowadays maps of these quality are quite common but still some of them (3, 7, 10, 12 come to mind most) stand the test of time amazingly well. All of the maps are acceptable, even if some border on ugly. A very good wad, arguably a classic. Would probably be a true classic if the other 8 maps were just as good. One not to miss anyways.

Yep, this was one of my first PWADs too, apart from the Aliens TC. I remember the first map with the Hexen red sky and the Metallica midi, oh how long since we've changed hehe. 5/5

Long time I was dissapointed by map01 (hate "my home" style levels with lots square rooms, boxed beds and stinking wc-pans) and not played this wad any further. That's a mistake! In overall, it is very solid wad, in true-good-old doom2 style. Maps 07, 08, 09 are just beautiful. **** /hth

I remember playing this along time ago. Unfortunately, some of the levels didn't age too well.

The more unusual the levels get, the better the architecture is, but in the generic base levels it can get pretty drab. However, map01 and map03 are brilliant maps that must have been very difficult to optimize for Doom2.exe. The music is awful, but you'll be too busy gawking at the skyscrapers to notice. 4/5 --Woolie

An quality fan-made continuation of TNT.WAD. Completed it for 12 hours totally.
MAP15 and MAP28 along the favorites.
Final bosses is interesting, though it can be rushy sometimes. I played with PSX sounds wad and did not noticed boss death sound, cause it shared same sound with PSX arachnotron.
The level is of detailing is very high. Sometimes even can not believable, what this can be done with vanilla limitations.
Skyboxes are one of the best what I saw in other wads.
What I don't like is some maps is just out of place, like MAP27. One more disappointment about they pulled out Europa/Lithosphere from MAP32 slot. Hope we can see them in another related projects.
Also you can see the real name of cyberdemon at the cast screen :)

yep, this is a huge-as-fuck map alright. you WILL get lost in this one, but thankfully not to the point that it becomes unplayable because thankfully, it fully is playable. it's just very cramped in a lot of spots, especially in the first few levels. what's best about this level is that it does get to be a bit more open later on. the combat isn't all that tough despite being cramped in most spots, and i managed to find all 23 secrets on my go. it was much harder to get 100% kills though, but worth it in the end. i actually think using automap markers for a map like this will help players immensely too.

Actually, I quite love the style of the maps of the 90s, I like to feel nostalgic even if I was not even born in those years, lol. Quite entertaining, almost a classic, from start to finish can be challenging, but very fun and perfect for a little trip to nostalgialand.

Short and enjoyable mapset.  Some pretty heavy gunfights.

Very good megawad with a scythe-like progression.  The levels are very nice and I liked how the bosses added a surprise at the end of every level.  The maps get harder at the end, with little ammo and health, and more custom monsters.  Some annoying doorway cyberdemon fights at the later levels.  I didnt like the music very much.   Overall I think this is a great wad, highly recommended.
