About This File

Spider contains one mission, features loads of secret doors and areas, new graphics, nicely aligned textures :-), never before seen room designs and some porn (gasp!), so if you are easily offended, PLAY IT!

The map is really good, nice design and architecture, but it is very confusing! You must find unmarked secret door to continue (IDDT), later "lift maze" is annoying. And red key (also needed) is hidden in secret area. Monsters are challanging on UV.

It's OK - pretty well made. The pron is very mild indeed.

An ambitious and decent-looking 1994 wad, with lots of clever little touches - the "wavey" crushers, a maze of lifts, train tracks, the Doom billboard and spider room. Some of them don't work at all (the lift maze), and there's a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, but they're good ideas for something so early. Loses a star because you have to find an unmarked and unremarkable secret door quite early on in order to continue. The porn consists of a single topless lady who looks familiar.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
