About This File

This is a straightforward single- player level for Heretic, with some nice special effects: A graveyard with coffins glowing through the earth, open cemetary gates, flooded caves, holes blown through walls, waterfalls, volcanoes, pieces of the ceiling falling into the path of water so it has to flow around it, tables and chairs, etc. There are a few secrets.

Like the other guy stated, average. Especially for 1996. I'm not sure if this is Ken's first map, but don't let this one fool you. Find his later work like the Dark Mountain series.

This is the level from which Dark Mountain is based. While Dark Mountain is obviously better, as a first attempt, this one is very correct. 3/5. ~Naan

Would not play with PRBoom, with errors about missing files : FluidR3_GM.sf2 and STARTAN2.  These were not provided in the zip file.

The map author left the words "how not" out of his description, I'll let you figure out where.

More tripe.  Huge badly designed and featureless rooms that give you leg ache just watching going through them. The opposition from monsters is pitiful.

A busted crock of shit. The map is random scribble, it's insane.  Why do they upload this tripe?  The third screenshot above gives an idea what to expect.

Consists of some rooms to be opened in key sequence from a central area. Doors are narrow and each reveals a row of monsters waiting for you, and you don't have enough ammo (I had to cheat). No atmosphere, bright lighting, and mostly Wolfenstein-ish cuboid rooms. Technically OK, with minor texture mis-matches. At least his own summary was modest.   Give it a miss.
