About This File

This is a huge wad that is set way under ground. It is totally futureistic and includes many clever effects. Even though this wad is massive, (over 6000 linedefs) it is not annoying in the sense that it is just one huge maze that take 5 hours to complete. The whole wad flows in one direction you never feel that you are not getting anywhere. So, the massive amount of linedefs have gone into brilliant, intricute and well thought out architecture .

I guess that if you mix Void and The Sky May Be and make the gameplay "more conventional", the result would look a lot like this.

This could have been almost legendary if not for that goddamn "Oooo Oooo" fucken sound.

I was pleaseantly suprprised when I played this gem through. Intriguing map layout, some good traps, solid gameplay (a few terrific fights, but nothing too hard)... In short - it's FUN! --4/5

That was a very strange map. Too buggy for my comfort zone, this one gets three out of five stars from me. This map was weird because half of it was really great (detail), and the other half looked like something out of Mock2:TSOS. -MasterShazbot

Really awesome level. It's only slight drawback is that you get a ton of ammo, health, inviso spheres, etc. The design is great, and I didn't mind the noises; nice little change. It's a good romp and a great example of somebody designing without influences.-GreazySh orts

Sounds suck, but the author (John Graham) was only 15 at the time he created this level (11 years ago), and youngs have the use to turn everything in a joke. Thus, his only Pwad will stay in the history of doom as one of the best wads ever made. Play it or you'll miss a hit. 5/5 - Jive

Really Good level!. I prefer the original Doom2 sounds (which I deleted from the wad on my computer). An excellent well designed and creative map with some excellent tricks and challenges too. Ohh, and some huge pitfalls too, certinally brings back memories of 1996. Who cares about misaligned textures. 4 Stars -PC

Kinda trippy and weird, but I didn't find the gameplay that fun.

1996? How did I ever miss this? Great original architecture; not only the huge use of vertical, but also some very good lighting and angles. A couple fun traps too. Very detailed for its time. A true classic. - FluffyBob

Really quite striking for 1996, especially because the use of huge drops and variable heights lends itself to jDoom or one of the other modern look-up/look-down source ports. Gameplay very variable and it's marred by awful sounds - the Imps scream like howler monkeys when they die. Reminds me of The Sky May Be although it's a lot more conventional. I got stuck in a couple of places where I probably wasn't supposed to have been allowed to go. Seems to be author's only map.

This is a very sweet level indeed, and the fact that it is from 1996 only makes it all the more amazing. A very well-deserved 5 stars.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
