About This File

You can complete this level without God Mode, it is difficult but it can be done have to save it a few times. them. Really for single player only. ***********************GAME DESCRIPTION*********************** I'm not really sure what the theme is, let alone what to name it. It's a fun level and I think most Doomers should enjoy playing it. Just enjoy the effects and scenery.

Looks more like just a bunch of lines than like a level. Map layout is quite primitive. Texture use is quite spare and looks sometimes plain hilarious (SM area!). Ambiance is like an early 1994 experimental map. There is no gameplan, just some boring walking around until you've found all keys. The released spammed monsters can be ignored when walking to the yellow door. Overall: 1* for the effort, playing is a WOT.

At the beginning a monster spawner just like on Map30 starts working. The monsters are released after you collect all three keys but most likely you won't even notice them on your way to the exit. Plus it's Map01 so after a while they start getting stuck. So you pretty much have to listen to the shitty annoying spawning sound for 10 minutes for no good reason, which SUCKS. It's a fun level otherwise, you're way too overstocked but there are plenty monsters to kill in interesting locations.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
