About This File

The hellspawn have invaded a local movie theater. A team was sent in before you and never came out, however, they managed to fence off the entrance to the theater. Your mission is to eleminate all the beasties and make it out alive. You will find an open exit in the "7 Doors of Death" theater, but you will first have to acquire the red key.

C'mon, is not that bad! There's so much doomcute here that i'll think that i start to have diabetes from all the sweetness lol. Even if big part of the movies are all "Oh My Goddess!" with wrong titles as well for the, the textures a cute cartoony design, even if pretty flat sometimes. The techno midi is awful. Overall cute map.

 

A fun trivia: iirc in the movie "7 doors of death" aka "The Beyond", near the end the main characters tries to escape from zombies (or they are possessed ghouls? I don't remember) and every time they using 3 shoots in total for all the time, using a revolver. Also that guys have a black and red mimetic like dress, like a certain monster in a certain game....

Awful; a huge, open cinema with flat primary colour textures and a terrible new background. Like all of these poor-quality early "realistic" wads it has toilets. Toilets are always a bad sign in a Doom wad. No classic Doom wad has toilets in it. Toilets are a sign of misplaced effort.

omg! it was some anime stuff w/ teh 80085 (just 3 mentions)! The 7 doors of death is not an anime! >:( ~1/5 for trying, zzz.

Cute movie theater with all new graphics, including a gulph.wad style mirror. The anime pics look glorious in the Doom palette, it's fun to look at them. The exit is unmarked and it is in the "seven doors of death" room, note that if you don't want to finish suddenly.

      A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

      Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
