About This File

This Tab wad will have you romping through a seaside town invaded by demons. Highlights include a port on the ocean with an island in the distance. To get there you'll have to do some underwater fighting!!

I gave this wad a 3 because it almost feels good to fight your way through some monsters in a bigger, city like level. However it's pointless. By a design flaw you can just simply get to the point where the, imho interesting underwater battle takes places and then finish the level. 3/5

This is dated October 1996. You fight 143 baddies in a simple town-style level. It feels underdesigned; as the first reviewer points out, you can skip most of the baddies by taking an obvious shortcut along a wall. Even if you play it properly, you only need the red key - the blue and yellow keys are superfluous. If you try to get the red key twice you'll get stuck. It's not as good as the other Tab levels, which were generally mediocre anyway.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
