About This File

Welcome back to hell. Doom Jr. is 30 Doom][ levels mad by me*. That's right 30. They completly replace every Doom][ level. And, let me tell you, just because I'm 15 it dosen't mean they're a picnic. There are Cacodemons, demons, imps and more Cyberdemon's than you can imagine. There are 5 new boss boards, one includes you and 3 Cyberdemons. It starts out insanely easy, a few zombiemen, a imp here and there, maybe a demon, but before you know it you're up to your neck in lost souls, mancubi, arachnotrons, and arch-viles. Like I said, welcome back to hell.

The horrible level design and dodgy textures made this a laugh to play. I will admit to mildly enjoying level 30, that long corridor level and one of the early levels with 2 Arch-Viles and teleports. That is largely why i give this Wad 1 star instead of 0. Also, i had to use clipping about 3 times to get out of holes or rooms because of either bugs or the horrendous design. I recommend this for a bit of a laugh.

Let me just say, DoomJr is a triumph of Modern Man. Visually, aurally, this is the most stunning set of maps ever concieved that will riddle all of your senses. I was enthralled by the author's control over sectors and artistic grasp of colour theory and composition. Everything about this map screams perfection, as though this were forged by a professional gaming studio. Simply put, this wad is a marvel of human engineering, nothing short of stunning Mr. Watson. 1 Star! -Scuba Steve

Probably the best megawad ever created. Most likely anyway. Very creative and original. Top score.

If you are bizare enough to really like a megawad without any details in it and where almost nothing is aligned correctly, not even doors usually have the width of their textures etc. this WAD is what you want. Otherwise it is just boring crap, even Slige can do it better in no time. At least, he regrets the release of it on his homepage. ;) If you want stupid wads, try mock2!

Now... I own a doom editor for a week now... I am quite better than you. First of all, look at the textures. All mixed up! Bad architecture and poor placement of monsters too. You better your editor (to DoomBuilder for example) or do something else. The one star is for the trigger engine (it's actually not that bad at all).

^The author is Mike Watson. He is your superior. Suck it down. Oh, and this wad is the greatest political statement in Doom history -6/5

This is not very bad, and this is not as sucky as 1337.WAD. This has better levels, but I hate that the first level is supposed to be short, but too short. Also, the texturing isn't right at all! Too bad this 15 year old bastard did not make the levels better (level 1) Also, level 13 has one wall that isn't textured! Average at it's worst. But OK.

Terrible in pretty much every way you can imagine. I beat the whole thing in under an hour, although I had to skip the unplayable "puzzle" level that was MAP17. An alternative title for this could have been "How Not to Make Maps." I'll give it 1 star, though, since it was an honest effort and it's not totally broken. 1/5

the 1337 megawad was worse than this, I can't believe there are people who actually rate this pile of crap highly. I mean, I'd rather play Void than this. -dljosef

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
