About This File

A level pretty much suited for Deathmatch play only. A single winding sector with four player and four deathmatch starts, various pesky little monsters, and various weapons ranging in strength from chainsaw to plasma gun. (Beware launching missiles at a dead run in a twisty canyon or it really will be a dead run ).

You can finish the level in less than one second by pressing on the wall behind you. The WAD is so low-effort and crappy you can finish it in less the time than it takes to launch Doom on any port.

The only thing that could make this worse is if the level music was replaced by that apeshit windows canyon midi. There isn't even an actual canyon in this level, either.

This is complete and utter trash, just one long sausage-like "canyon" that has only 1 texture and looks nothing like a canyon with some basic enemies thrown in. There is two level exits contrary to what the second reviewer said but they have the same texture making them invisible, they are located at the beginning and end of the "canyon". I also did not recall seeing any ammo or guns except for what the enemies dropped making this even more useless for deathmatch 0/5

A map consisting of a single sector: a winding single-textured brown corridor. Oh, joy. --0/5

Dated 1994...not that it matters, because there was never a time that something like this would be excusable. unquestioned 0/5

It's a big long canyon filled with trees and spikes. Would be awful for deathmatch because you would be caught up on the trees and spikes all the time; and it is use as a single player level, because it doesn't have a level exit (or gameplay).

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
