About This File

5 highly original DM levels, and probably the last from the BDL team as we know it (see ending note). Regardless of how Season11 turns out, we hope you can appreciate these wads for what they are.

Much, much more complex than previous Brit WAD's both aesthetically AND playability wise. Take the time to learn them, and enjoy what is the superlative BDL WADpack.

Brit11 : The only wad pack with *fantastic* looks which DON'T hinder gameplay!

The music accompanying each level is pretty good too, and suits the style.

Hey, these maps are pretty damn good. Legendary regardless of BFG laming, my DM maps are inspired by these to a degree and also accentuated why the BFG should be difficult to get. 4/5, well earned too, especially for their age.

Great oldschool DM. Of course, that does mean easy to get BFGs, but oh well. 4/5

For a 1997 deathmatch pack, this pack is pretty good. Bfg lamers seem to have alot of fun on these, but still very good none the less. 4 Stars. ~BloodSkull~

Thanks for your comments guys I was one part of the Brit 11 creators - Stuart McKendrick. Sorry to hear about the BFG lamers but did try to make it difficult to get but obviously not hard enough ;) We wanted these levels to flow and really cover the ground without bumping into walls etc. and we achieved that. Glad to read there were enjoyed and 12 years on I still show an interest. Great days creating levels and testing to death.eyecreatedesig n[at]yahoo.com

This is phenomenal when played in Duel but still classic as an FFA brawl nonetheless.

More an exercise in 3-d artwork than a game. Just someone's bedroom with a HK in a tiny lobby outside the door, and a Caco in a tiny yard outside the window. A BFG and Invisibilty Sphere are also in the yard but you can't get out there. I think the name is a clue - maybe this was the start of a bigger level, then abandoned. He ought to have allowed it as a base for development.

Starts with all monsters with their backs to you, and you might as well leave it that way and just listen to the music. One big rectangular room with no finish switch. They couldn't even make the rectangle properly - freehand I guess. Kill the monsters if you want, it's easy.

Superb firework display of thousands of fireballs seeming in slow motion because of the vastness - mostly avoidable as they land where you were ages ago; but worth playing just to see it. A HUGE square surrounded by tiers with hundreds of imps and a few others, plus a blockhouse you can enter first to collect ammo.  Fighting through the hundreds of monsters when you get onto the tiers is another matter, overwhelming at UV. I cheated to finish so at least I could review.  Some HOM bugs.

Laggy hell with 32k monsters and too much invulnerability spheres. Just... total vomit.
