About This File

A large new level for Doom 2. Replaces level 13. The city level in Doom2 was always my favorite. I've wanted to make my own ever since I started building wads! E-mail me and tell me what you think.

City levels don't appeal me at all. Except Doom City. Points for the subway exit.

Looks really amateurish. Also it hasn't got really much detail and is confusing.

Excellent map, with great gameplay, from the author of the legendary "Hoover Dam". Nice sequences, and plenty of ammo and powerups for plenty of monsters. A few lesser areas (the teleporting puzzle for example) are a little annoying, but overall, a highly recommended download. --4/5

I found the fights average. I also found the map confusing and I hate teleport puzzles. For UV difficulty there was either too much health, plasma ammo or no tough situations. Putting that aside, it is a well designed map with good gameplay. 3 stars - Starburst.

This is dated September 1995. It's a homage to "Downtown", although it's smaller and simpler, and it looks poor. The author went on to bigger and better things, and this is very much a formative work. Just like the original Downtown, the gameplay has a lot of wandering about. There's an irritating teleport puzzle. A decent amount of action, but nowhere near the quality of "Hoover Dam".

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
