About This File

There was hexen and hexen2, startrek and startrek the next generation, quake and quake2. What do they all have in common? The sequel was a hell of a lot better than the original which was good any ways. Well now theirs #1kill the next generation which follows the tradition. It features 23 never before seen levels with new textures and music from all off doom ever created under Id. It was built with the experience of building 13 levels for doom/doom2 and the experience of playing doom, doom2, final doom, obtic, hexen, swheretic, quake, and other levels off the net, These levels are built to be challenging with the quality you would expect from Id, playability, and beauty in mind.

It was a good set of levels despite the bugs. The worst thing I found on this (aside from a couple of inescapable rooms) was the overuse of time-delay doors for which the delay was a bit long. A little more work and this WAD pack would have been nearly perfect though. 4/5

I'm at map 10 or 11 and when you pick up the yellow skull in the courtyard the horde of enemies is simply impossible to beat.

2 (3) free running archviles in map 1 and only enough shotgun muni? Yes, but only with cheating and that sucks! So 2 stars - meh

A flagship of a WAD that gets only 1 star sucked up satan's asshole, a 70 percent masterpiece! I am sorry but this WAD is only worthy of getting a 4. Why? I have two complaints, 1.FUCKING HORRIBLE DIFFICULTY 2.HOM EFFECTS good wad. But too fucking hard, the internet villains might send some fucking demons at you for that... Good work. From Isaac

I tried it with Aeod5 and it rocks. Prepare to die. Prepare to no clip. This wad feels like it lives and you feel awaited... beware where you step and what you pick. Noooo, fear that switch... PFL

Love the traps and architecture, detailing could be better and the maps needed a bit more testing for bugs. Still fantastic in my book. -Sgt. Shivers

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
