Was kind of interesting story, but the sprite replacement for the monsters definitely don't help, and the sounds are worse

The year is 2099? STRIFE was from near future, and it was MUCH technological than this. Btw, could you sometimes really try to make a wad? 0/5

Way too complex to set up and pretty bad anyways. Avoid.

i am amazed that the author evidently thought this was a fun wad. How can you confuse fun with plain annoying dog shit?? 1 star.

I used to have this years ago before it was reviewed and I could never get it to run, the installer was retarded and every port vomited when I tried to run the wads... and now, after looking inside the wads I see why nothing wanted to run it. Suckage graphics, retarded sound effects and levels that could have been designed by a 2-year-old child for all I know. Throwing MM2 music into the mix has only made me shudder every time I play MM2 rather than made this steaming pile of bullshit any better.

Well, I *had* to see the wad that has caused such a furore. It reminds me of "The Sky May Be", although whereas the hallucinatory weirdness of that wad - one of the ten most infamous - was deliberate, this is like inadvertent psychedelic folk art, man. I only played it until the first puzzle (which is awful), but it was completely hatstand and you have to play it yourself. Works in Zdoom, albeit that there are three WADs you have to load at the same time. Watch out for the giant ball.

I *hope* this is a joke - but even if it is, it's not funny in the slightest. Waste of bandwidth, diskspace, and time. 0/5.

You should try to realease more non-graphic and non-sound wads while you try to find your mapping center. If there is a wad you make that is'nt that good, it wont waste as much space. I think you could do better, I've seen people start out like this. -Infurnus

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
