About This File

A medium sized level built in the Ultimate Doom style. I have placed architectural and "thrown" light details into the level to make it visually appealing, not to mention the impeccable texture alignment.

Its best in UV mode (just wait till you get the super shotgun!) Depending on how you go thru the level, the monster swarms can be different depending on how you play. I added these things in to give the level more "replayability" :) There can also be a *lot* of "wandering" monster activity, so watch your back!

Its designed for single player at the moment, but if you want a proper DM version, mail me and I'll get around to it.

Very nicely designed map, with gameplay that will keep you on your toes and make you think about your route and how to handle each area.

This is an entertaining early retro design that looks like something from E4, but brighter, and with Doom2 monsters. The gameplay is fun and the design work is elegant and simple, with a professional feel (surprisingly this is the author's only Doom level). The monsters come at you in a big clump during the middle part of the level and it gets very tight on ammo; I ended up hiding in a courtyard, punching imps as they came down an elevator. It's nice and compact as well.

Tell a lie; Ben Davies also wrote level 11 of The Darkening: Episode 2, which is even better than this level. He seems to have retired after that.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
