Date Completed : Bug fix: May 4, 1998 (original on April 27, 1998)
Title : Eulogy v1.2
Filename : eulogy.wad
Other Works : Project X, Bill Gates Sprite, BFG 3400, South Park
Sprites. All can be found at
Author : Cyberdemon (Mike Watson)
Email Address : firstname.lastname@example.org
Description : No real story, I just wanted to make a nice
tough PWAD that Doomers could have some fun with.
Note that it is pretty tough(especially skill 4)
This is also a bug fix for the original eulogy.wad
You see, Waded has a crappy internal nodes builder
which has a tendancy to leave holes in the walls.
After getting someone to record a demo for me, I
decided to fix it(it was quite annoying). This
PWAD is bug free.
Additional Credits to : id Software(of course), myself(hey, I made the damn
thing) and Kurt Kesler for his K-Metl series, which
partly inspired this wad, and Aurican for making a
demo on this level(included)
* Play Information *
Game : Doom][ v1.9(will work in Boom also, but the sky is
not good for m-look, so don't use legacy)
Level # : Map 1
Single Player : You got it
Cooperative 2-4 Player : Also(but probably too easy)
Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Starts are there, but no DM weapons
Difficulty Settings : Yes, monsters and ammo, mostly monsters.
New Sounds : No...really, what's the point? I think id
did a damn good job with the sounds, don't you?
New Graphics : Just a new Sky(from e1 of Doom)
New Music : Nope
Demos Replaced : One demo is included. It's Aurican playing on UV.
Only problem is that I put one too many Revs in
the level, so they get de-synced. Oh well. It does
run fine under Boom though(love that bug fix)
* Construction *
Base : New level from scratch. Sky from Doom e1.
Editor(s) used : WadED v1.83, NWT, and Warm v1.6
Complaints : WadED is full of errors, and Warm kicks ass
Build time : Took me three days(overall)...I'd say six or so
hours(bug fix took 10 mins)
Known Bugs : No bugs anymore. I really love Warm!
* Copyright / Permissions *
Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional
levels(sorry to be stingy, but I like this level)
You may distrubute this file in any format(CD ROM, BBS, whatever)provided
that you include all files included in your distribution.
