Pretty good hell map in style of UD inferno maps (especially this map made me remember House of Pain), pretty good layout and gameplay.

This is a very well detailed map with fun gameplay. It has some flaws, like being cramped in some areas, but thankfully it is done right.

Quite a fun mid-period map; more detailed and complex than the old-school 1994-95 maps, and simpler and less ironic than modern-day wads. There are lots of traps that don't hem the player in, and so you can just back out of most of them, which is mellow.

This is dated June 1998. You fight a goodly number of monsters (almost 300) in a simple but pleasing green stone castle. You generally fight large numbers of weaker monsters, which is fine by me; you mow them down easily enough, and it's not hard. The level of carnage is good. Almost every object and switch is a trap, but you only ever get trapped by a dozen imps, so it's not exactly Hell Revealed. But I liked it, it's fun.

Although the motif gets tiring after awhile, the level was well-played and well designed. I also noticed that there were way too many shotgun shells and not enough bullets, and I am a shotgun user on almost anything. --MechWarrior Jake Pryde

Rated 3.6, MAP01 A linear Doom level with one line of play, with key on a pedestal traps, and monsters hiding in the walls waiting for you. Different, and yet very familiar. Very playable and not too difficult, but must use savegame in some places.

this was easy at first, but it got harder at the end. it took me more than half an hour to beat it. pretty good!

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

      thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
