About This File

Two-level preview of my upcoming 32-level project. Made for ZDOOM 1.16. Just a few minor graphic changes for this preview, plenty more graphics will be added for the final release. Will also be optimized for full ZDOOM support. (jumping is not allowed though...) The shitty thing about this is that I've used the shareware version of DeeP, and therefore couldn't make a level containing over 800 linedefs. that's why I'll make the whole 32 levels (using 800 LD's in every level) instead of making huge, single levels. And I'm doing this on my own, so if I'm gonna finish this, it's best to make the levels tight and good... If somebody could make me a STBAR that would be nice too

So I've just played the demo. I'll tell what I think about it: It has little variation, most of the first level was pretty much a big press-the-switch-to- lower-the-near-eleva tor. The lights part was okay and the corridor with imps was pretty good, but what I think this wad lacks is ideas. It has little variation. Maybe you should try to have a look at TVR!.wad to get some ideas. For now, I can only give it 2.5/5 stars (which result in 3 stars)

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
