Need weapon skin tutorial?

Does anybody have or know of any tutorials on how to make weapons skins for Doom?

Strictly speaking, Doom has no "skins" for either its monsters, pickups, decorations or weapons. It's sprite based, meaning that everything you see is basically 2D pictures, usually hand drawn, hand-colorized and hand-trimmed to fit the mood and color palette of the game. There are plenty of Doom-related spriting tutorials around, and you should start from those as it's not really a different concern.
