Kid Airbag Posted March 14, 2002 Is there a way in WadAuthor to make the upper and lower textures have different offsets? Cause I got it so the below texture would be aligned, but the upper one isn't, because the same number doesn't work for both of them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted March 14, 2002 Nope. Your best bet is fiddling with upper/lower unpeg. 0 Share this post Link to post
Enjay Posted March 14, 2002 Have you tried setting the upper and lower unpegged flags? Usually setting upper and lower unpegged and then just using the same y offset as the regular lines either side of the window or whatever in question (even though that may often just be 0) will align things just fine. 0 Share this post Link to post
DooMBoy Posted March 29, 2002 You know, I never really understood how Upper/Lower Unpeg worked. Could someone explain this me? 0 Share this post Link to post

Doom textures are normally drawn from the top down. When you set the lower unpegged flag, you force the engine to draw the texture from the bottom up. This is useful for things like the underside of windows, as it lines up the lower texture to the walls on either side. You would also set the upper unpegged flag on the top of the window to make sure that part is drawn from the top down, as it should be. 0 Share this post Link to post
