Bug with GZDOOM-based OpenGL renderers

Recommended Posts

The sourceports which run on the gzdoom engine (skulltag and gzdoom itself) have a crash whenever the game ends with a signal 11, segmentation fault on linux, and has done so for all versions. I have a radeon HD 4650 and i use 64-bit linux. Any ideas?

A segmentation fault can be anything. Can you post a crash log?

Your info is far too vague. Which version of the ports did you use and which graphics driver version?

well ive been using both ports for about 2 years now, and the same for the graphics drivers and ive updated every single time the new version came out and i always had the same error:

*** Fatal Error ***
Address not mapped to object (signal 11)

Generating zdoom-crash.log and killing process 3297, please wait... ^C/usr/bin/gzdoom: line 3: 3297 Segmentation fault LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/games/gzdoom /usr/games/gzdoom/gzdoom $*

CrashReport:

*** Fatal Error ***
Address not mapped to object (signal 11)
Address: (nil)

System: Linux Shadow-PC 3.0.0-13-generic #21-Ubuntu SMP Mon Oct 17 20:18:51 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
GCC version: 4.6.1

lol... Well I was actually surprised of the brevity of the crashlog but it was posted under "CrashReport" in my last message
