the doom2 map02 glide

why do people say the doom2 map02 glide is harder than all the other ones? to me it doesnt seem any harder than any other one... ive made it without dre on my first attempt (although that was astronomically lucky)

No, this is an easy one by the standards of flat-faced glides. See the various discussions in this forum about gliding, and avoid making false claims, as they tend to confuse the issue.

Of course, a glide that you are attempting while getting shot at will tend to be harder in practice, especially in a non-TAS recording. But that's a separate consideration from the glide itself.

i think all flat faced glides are the same difficulty, they are very hard!
