Wanting to purchase an Android tablet.

Recommended Posts

Note the "works best with stylus" and "memory by 'sumsung.'" My money is on this tablet sucking, a lot. Best to check reviews with shady 3rd party Chinese electronics, sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised. But usually you just get what you pay for.

I'd go to a brick and mortar store to test the display units. Most tablets I've tried I noted have slow CPU/gpus. Simply swiping the screen would have a visible delay and jittery animation or poor frame rate. The higher end stuff performed a helluva lot better - dual core CPUs, etc.

Id stay away from unknown eBay models.

I wouldn't bother with a tablet if it doesn't have at least Android 3.2 or newer on it. Android 2.2 is a bit ancient and even phones with it are increasingly becoming uncommon.

I would of thought it'd be perfect for exactly what you want it for. Unless you start watching movies or doing alot of browsing etc it may be worth getting a better tablet. Really damn cheap aswell nice.
