Online player name

Does anybody know how to change the color of your name online? (I know this sounds a bit nooby but I am quite new to playing online)

Using what source port? Pretty much every source port has some kind of multiplayer functionality, and this is likely to be something that is different in every port.

I'm using skulltag for online. Is it codes you have to type before and after letters?
