KennyJC Posted June 8, 2012 Reinstalled DB2 to finish a level I was working on a while back. I remember last time using a GZDoom.cfg for the level. But I have difficulty googling it. Mainly broken links and just people talking about it. I also thought I should ask if editing for gzdoom has changed and so there are different gzdoom configs to think about. 0 Share this post Link to post
Siggi Posted June 8, 2012 If you want to know how GZDoom has changed, it might help to know when you stopped. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kappes Buur Posted June 9, 2012 Doombuilder2 never came with any configs for GZDoom. I imagine that Codeimp did not find it worthwhile to make a specific config for GZDoom by adding the few extensions over ZDoom configs. However, you could use GZDoombuilder by MaxEd, which has support for most GZDoom features, 3D constructs, dynamic lights, models etc. 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted June 9, 2012 You're probably after the set of configs that Gez put together, which seem to have disappeared from the DRD File Space. Here you go. 0 Share this post Link to post

Is that because it only seemed to openk in "GZDoom Hexen format" but would work in UDMF?I did try to copy sectors under a new map in UDMF but could still not see the 3d floors in preview. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kappes Buur Posted June 9, 2012 press F6 select the format open Modes make sure GZDoom Visual Mode is ticked make sure Visual Mode is ticked OK press F5 select Controls bind GZDoom Visual Mode to a key, maybe Q bind Visual Mode to a key, maybe W OK Hexen and UDMF formats are totally different. To convert from Hexen to UDMF format use WAD2UDMF 0 Share this post Link to post

I'm able to view the lights and the 3d floors in preview so that's all I need considering for the moment thanks! 0 Share this post Link to post
