'Explorational' type wads

I posted this in some other thread but nothing happened so I'll start anew...

Anyone know of any outdoorsy/explorational/RPG style wads out there?

Some of Lainos' works feature quite a lot of exploration. See Doxylamine Moon: Overdose and 5till L1 Complex. Both have large realistic cities for you to explore.

Oh yeah I've heard about that one, never got around to playing it though.

P.S That Overdose wad is quite good looking, except my computer slowed to a crawl in the outside areas :p thanks though.

You can probably get rid of the lag by deleting all decorative grass things. They aren't that important anyway IMO.

Might be worth checking out Crapi and Janitor Adventure 3D (Junko) -- they're massive explorational open-ended hub-types that sound just like what you're after.

I prefer WADs which balance large area exploration with occasional heavy combat. They are the best.

Maps 2 and 5 are the main explorational maps, but the rest of the WAD's pretty cool as well.
