CNN lies exposed about Bahrain by Amber Lyon (former CNN reporter)

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure who here has found out about this, but has anyone looked into how the USA is helping the regime of Bahrain oppress the people over there, and how CNN tried to cover up these stories by firing the team who covered the story?

If you want to see a blog that covers this better and more extensively and how this could play a role with with Iran and even in the police state that America is becoming... then please watch this video! http://vimeo.com/50802185

It's very sad how the financial elite of America selectively pick countries to invade based on "human rights" and gain public support for these invasions, yet most of these countries are worse off afterwards, while USA overlook human rights issues happily when it's a pro Western fascist regime.

Anyway, what is everyone elses take on this? Do you think mainstream media is created to keep people ignorant of what happens in their government or to keep them informed? For instance there is not a single word about the cruel farm genocide happening here in South African media, and the same media that sells the war on Iran is the one that said there was a bomb in Iraq.

Of course our mainstream media is bias and hides stuff from us: everything in the middle east that is transpiring has done so according to US desires. Do you honestly think 'revolution' after revolution occurs between independent states without any economic or political tie? When it began media outlets were making comparisons with the fall of the iron curtain in the late 80s: but these were all countries that we united by a common political and economic system.

When these middle eastern 'revolutions' or rather 'springs' as they are known first occurred we were told how it was all down to the wonders of facebook and other American based technology like google, and it's funny how we don't hear such claims like that anymore. One could argue that such technology is nothing more than another tool in the arsenal of geopoliticans of either nation: youtube allows, for example, a terrible and tasteless youtube video that offends and results in the deaths of many and yet will readily ban a seemingly innocent video by an average nobody that poses no threat... why is that?

Make no mistake: everything that is happening in the Middle East corresponds with US foreign policy, a policy formulated by the New American Century project. This project is, in short, nothing more than a means of promoting US Imperialism under the guise of spreading the alleged wonders of senate-based 'democracy'. Countries such as Russia and China see this and are naturally opposed, which is why both are demonized in the western media. The US bemoans how China has a terrible human rights record, while at the same time systematically executes more people than china - a nation with 1.3 billion to it's name, and the largest population on earth.

And constantly rails against China for lack of civil rights, while at the same time using the secretive unconstitutional Department of Homeland Security to organize brutal nationwide oppression of growing protest movements while the mainstream media turns a complete blind eye.

Well. there's also the little known fact that USA is the only country in the world wich has ever been found guilty of terrorism in an international court.
