I know how you feel now! This computer fucking rules! But now I have to start saving cash and pay it back to my parents...

So yeah the only bad thing is is that I have to download all of my old programs...until I get a network card for my old one and transfer all of my music, game and Doom stuff over to this one...

And earning the moolah to buy this off my parents.

The only things that you have that are better is your 2ghz processor and your HD...great computer though, if you don't have broadband, get it, and play some games like Quake 2 or 3 online...just wait until I get broadband, I'll be a DM GOD!

I tried to install my version of Quake 2 but it one of those region specific versions...I changed the language on my PC to english : australian but it still doesn't work...it worked fine on my old pc but not this one...FUCK

I'm probably wrong, but the "best" for sound, I thought. was a 5.1 setup. (ie: 5 Speakers to 1 subwoofer)

I need a GeForce IV, well I don't but one is desired.
Although there was mention that the new Nvidia card, the "nv30" will not be along the GeForce naming convention, and might make uses of some of 3dfx's technology that Nvidia aquired.

But Apart from that, My computer rocks

Just remember to get the fastest hardd drive you can, my slow ass drive is making me crazy. Just bought a new one but now I have to move everything over. Blah.

So I'm thinking of over clocking my 1ghz Duron, anyone got any tips / warnings? Yes, I'll be chucking in a bunch of cooling goodness.

I love my comp-not the newest in town, but pretty fair.
PIII 450 Mhz with a VooDoo3 graphics card and 64 Megs RAM.
It seems to be able to handle everything I throw at it, except nuts.wad :)
