Wooden Quake Logo

I wanted to share this with my fellow Quake fans.

My Dad cut this himself for me years ago. I wish I would have kept this in a better condition because it is one of the few things I still have left that he made me.

That's one cool wooden Quake logo! It would be cool if he made a Doom logo made out of wood too. As for its condition it looks OK.

It would look better painted brown.

That IS pretty badass. So what are you gonna do with it? You've gotta flaunt it, somehow. It's too cool to be hidden away.

I'd probably have nailed it to a wall, or set up an elaborate black frame with "QUAKE" written on it and nail the logo to that. You know - present it a bit.

Pretty cool! I was expecting a wood etching or something, though, which would be pretty badass. If they ever put out a new Q1 style quake game they should do something like that for the collectors edition; an etched wood case with an iron Q attached to the front. That would be pretty much the coolest fucking thing to ever exist.

It's not cut out very smoothly on the round parts, though.

Not that I'm in any position to judge other people's woodworking competence, but it doesn't look like it was based on a precise template and was just sawn by sight.

It's still pretty neat though.
