This shooting at the mall was foreseen before it happened. Did the shooter post about this before the terrible act? Or it could have been someone else but...

They're horrible boards where decent discussion is essentially non-existent (to my knowledge it hasn't even produced a mildly amusing meme in quite a while), but ridding the internet of 4chan wouldn't make a bit of difference. I'm sure Anons have other chans and places where they go to commune. It's like trying to dilute mercury.

Ridding the internet of 4chan would actually be a BAD thing in this case, as knowing about these events beforehand makes it possible to take action. I know people shit on channers all the time, but they're often responsible for catching pedophiles\psychos\people who slaughter animals and the like.

If I'm not mistaken, I think 7chan is home to leg/i/on so you're right the "true" anons do hang out elsewhere. 4chan is still the asshole of the internet and I don't think it would be missed that sorely.
