Problems on Highschool ?

Hi Guys,
Is it true, that you had Problems in your Highschool wearing a DooM- or Quake-Shirt after the Massacre at the Columbine Highschool in Littleton ?
I saw something about that. Anybody here had such problems ?

My friend got asked to stop wearing his trench when he went to this other school for some weird class. He said shut up and went to class.

yea all kinds of probs at my school. a kid wore a trench and knew nothing about what happened the day before, he got expeled. hell i did not know what had just happened until a teacher said something. Sites the supported doom were denied on the school server a week later. shirts with logos for bands like, korn, manson, metallica, and rammstien were always being questioned, almost banned. you could not mention doom with out the responce from teachers, DOOM! That is a terrible game because u go around killing kids!, sorry u dont kill kids in doom.

Most caveman remains discovered so far, seem to have all met some untimely end, usually skull caved in, there must have been some major shit around then, people complaining the graphics in cave paintings were too explicit etc :)

why do the threads get locked if we bring up columbine or the columbine MOD, first off i dont even think the mod is being made. I think it was a joke to piss us off. If it was being made they must be some sick fucks. second off so what if the doom comunity post things about school shootings here. we were attacked by those who blame games and doom. so i say lets alow free doom speech but lets keep it doom related and keep the flame wars down.

All schools nowadays are falling by the wayside of socialist policies: i.e. if it's bad, then ban it. Same story with firearms in the U.S., and similarly with DOOM related stuff in my school. "Uh let's just take it away so the kids will want more of it." Fucking ultra left wing geniuses.

It's also becoming Big Brotherish at my school. You have to "sign in" at all entrances that you have officially entered the building and then "sign out" so they know you're gone. And they have to know the purpose of your visit (???).

If someone would tell me (me wearing my sweet DooM - Shirt) to put my shirt of, i would laugh till i die ! ! !

At our school, we actually have a shareware version of doom. The school computer guy technology dude (who actually is a bit of a dickhead) only lets us play it like at the end of the term.

Access to all doom related sites (well anything that is a first person shooter) is blocked at our school. Damm teacher!

I'll be a junior there this fall. For the average high school it may not be serious, but my school is in the same district that Linguica graduated from, which was also in the same district as the Santana and Granite Hills incidents. Thus people in my neighborhood take that stuff REALLY seriously since we were within a three mile radius of the shootings.

i like to draw too...in 9th grade my math teacher saw me draw the doom logo on my binder and he said "didnt you learn anything from channel one?" (channel one is this stupid show that the schools here make us watch...)after the columbine shooting channel one said that the kids did it cuz they played doom and it was all doom and the gaming industry's fault...talk about fucking stupid...

Sounds like how my Junior year at high school was like (1½ years ago). Whenever I had free time during my drawing/design class I would draw out my paper wads, and some people in there would begin to think the same thing toward me. I stopped before the end of that year though.

Yeah, my Junior year was a pain. Not just because of that though.

I used to draw pics of DOOM and shit.I got sent to a secondary school where you are locked down.Rules are tight.No jackets.No backpacks.No nothing.They even give you your own pencil.And the sharpeners have been fucked with so the tip of the pencil isnt sharp.Its dull as fuck.So you think you got it bad?I have to wake up at 4 to wait for a bus to come at 5 to wait for kids to be dropped off then I get droped off at 8:15.So your life sucks at school?At least you get to be with your friends...

I went to a highschool that was mostly 7th Day Adventists. You think Christian's are uptight? These mofo's think meat and caffeine are evils.

I vaguely remember junior high, I spent most of my time either stoned or playing Super Nintendo. I do remember doing a special drawing in art class just for extra credit.

I drew a dragon punching a woman in the back. It's fist tore through her belly and a fetus was clenched in it's fist. The background was skulls, dead babies, and many ripped apart naked women.

I got an A++ on it in extra credit.

The big gang in our area was the 'Folk', which was a subgang of the Crips. Their symbol was a south-facing triangle with two pitchforks. I used to draw horns and beards on their triangles so they looked demon's faces. Well, that and I'd write KKK 4EVER above them just to piss 'em off. Hahah.

We had things pretty relaxed, which is probably why, when I went to Benton Harbor High, six people were shot in the first two weeks. The English teacher was shot in the gut in the first day. That year (the only year I went) over 900 freshmen had to be expelled 'cuz they were over 21.

I've had all sorts of schools. Believe me. I'll take a preppie Christian school over a ghetto school any fucking day of the week! Sure, you're opinions might be stifled and your creativity to do as you please might be hampered, but you won't get shot, and that's always a bonus.

Well, I don't get shit about drawing demons (which i do, even if they are a bit cartoony) or playing doom in skool. The only time a teacher has ever heard of my playing doom went like this...

Me: A custom map for a computer game.

Me: Doom.

It's really too bad everything else at my skool sucks ass. Roaches, tight dress code, tons of idiot/ghetto district kids, yugh.

yea in my school we got those girls who try to act ghetto. i mean they do their hair like a black girl's. not to be racist but there is a difference in hair, between black and white . There is this one girl who did that and now she got a huge ass mullet. there also wanna be gang kids, i dont know how many of those dorks i have beat for trying to pull something on me.
